Meet Janet

Janet is the public and member assistant for the MemberWise Network.
She is designed to answer knowledge-based questions using only verifiable
information sourced through connected tools - never speculating
or generating creative content.

Janet searches across 1,605 indexed documents from three sources:

MemberWise Network public site (1,369 docs) — the bulk of her knowledge, covering the full range of public articles, news, guides, and sector content from memberwise.org.uk.
Online Learning Portal (211 docs) — content from learn.memberwise.org.uk, including CPD courses and learning materials.
Member Resources (25 docs) — a smaller, curated set of member-only reference documents and guides.

Live Community API (real-time data)

Janet can also query the MemberWise community platform in real time via 10 API endpoints, covering:

Events — upcoming events and event detail lookups
Communities — viewing, joining, contributing to, and getting details about communities
Invitations — listing and accepting community invitations
Community Members — listing members within a community

This means Janet can answer both static knowledge questions (from the indexed docs) and dynamic, personalised questions (e.g. "what events are coming up?" or "which communities have I joined?") for signed-in members.
